The course is located in Chettipalayam, 17 km from the city center of Coimbatore. It is set at the base of the Nilgiri Mountains, in a valley surrounded by mountains. The course is an 18-hole, par 72 course, with a total length of 6,973 yards. The course is flat and open, with no elevation changes or big trees. However, it has its own defence: the wind. The wind blows through the Palakkad Gap, a major mountain pass between the two mountain ranges. The wind can change direction and speed at any time, making every shot a challenge.
At 1:30 pm, we will tee off and play a round at this course. We will break for lunch after 9 holes and complete the back 9 holes afterwards. Scores are maintained to find a winner and runners-up (stableford) by the end of the two rounds. We will then enjoy some drinks at the clubhouse, which has a restaurant that serves Indian and continental cuisine. You can also visit the pro shop that sells golf equipment and accessories. In the evening, we will drive back to the hotel and relax for a while. For dinner, we will go to Ammayi Veedu Pot Cook, a unique restaurant that serves food cooked in earthen pots, such as chicken curry, mutton fry and egg masala.
